If You Witness Animal Cruelty

If you suspect animal cruelty, contact the NS SPCA at (902) 835-4798 or toll free at 1-888-703-7722 to request as investigation of animal abuse.  When calling after hours, leave a message along with your name, and the phone number where you may be reached during normal business hours.

If you are dealing with an emergency (i.e. an animal is at risk of permanent injury or death) call your local police department or detachment of R.C.M.P.
